Colleen McKnight

Colleen is a trial lawyer and trusted advisor, highly skilled at equipping and protecting businesses. She represents a variety of clients, from trailblazing start-ups to large multi-national corporations, with particular emphasis in energy, technology, and healthcare.  In her representations, she works to decrease her clients’ stress, increase their efficiency, and ease interruptions in their workflow.

 

Colleen works with clients to ensure that their business practices, contracts, and intellectual property portfolios are arranged strategically for commercial optimization and to avoid litigation risks.  Her experience, including her first-chair jury trials, means that she can and will advocate zealously for her clients in both federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation. Working alongside clients to protect their intellectual property, trade secrets, and businesses allows Colleen to put forth her natural gifts, tenacity, and honed strengths.

When she is not advising and fighting on behalf of her clients, Colleen can be found spending time with her husband and two kids.  She also serves as a deacon at her local church and on the board of both Maverick PAC (a federal political action committee) and The Riverside Project (a local non-profit serving foster children, families, and those at risk of entering the system).
